Hot Key Press

Rewriting happens in the cloud, but nothing is saved. It is processed and immediately discarded.

Keep every word offline
Voice typing always gives you an offline option. Turn it on and transcription runs on your device, so your recordings never reach a server and are never seen by anyone but you.
Offline transcription, whenever you want it
Switch voice typing to offline and every transcription is processed on your Mac. Your audio is never uploaded. It never even leaves your machine.
AI Rewrite saves nothing
When you use AI Rewrite, the rewriting happens in the cloud, but none of your data is stored. It’s processed and immediately discarded.
You pick the trade-off
Prefer cloud transcription for speed, or offline to keep recordings on your machine. Either way, your notes are never used to train AI models.
